Happy 8 months a little late

Well Summer is here and we have been so busy. I am sorry to be late on getting Ansley's 8 month update, but I guess better late than never. She is changing so very fast. Some new things is she now has her 2 bottom teeth! She also said her 1st word which I'm happy to say was "Mama" the 1st one to say it first, both other children said "Dada"! She mainly says it when she wants something! We have given you a new treat which you are a huge fan of, watermelon. Still not a big eater on the baby food, but we are always trying new things. Puffs and Cheerios are a hit around here.  She just about has the crawling thing down. She will get on all fours and rock, and just today she went for something that was out of reach. My life is just about to get a little more busy! You are still having bad separation anxiety! I have not been able to leave you with no one. Even at the nursery you are not a happy camper without your Mommy around. I know she will out grow this, so trying to enjoy her being all about me while it last!

We went on vacation to Charleston and had a blast. She really loved the beach, and I think would stay in the pool all day! She did try to eat the sand which was hard to keep it out of her reach.

I took her to the Doctor thinking she had an ear infection, but it was just her teeth. She weighed 15 lbs 5 oz, which is in the 10% for her age.  I can't believe how fast this precious time goes by, before you know it we will be planning her 1st b-day! It is such a wonderful blessing being your parents and I hope and pray you will always know how very special and loved you are!

Ansley's Baby dedication

Today was a very special day for our family! We had baby dedication at church for Miss Ansley! 

Here is the dedication we shared today...... 

We are eternally grateful as we come into Your presence this day Lord to present our precious little daughter, Ansley Marie, to be dedicated to You.  With this statement of faith in You as our Lord and Savior, we commit to raise Ansley in a Christian home of love and peace.  We will teach her of Christ's love and a need for salvation.  We will teach her to trust in You, and that she can do all things through Christ which strengthens her.  We will teach her to love, to be kind, considerate, gentle, caring toward others.  We will teach her to pray, as we will continue to pray for her, for a Godly husband and for God's plans and purposes for her life be fulfilled.  We will teach her to praise and worship you in all things.  We will provide for her needs, we will love her unconditionally, we will protect her from evil influences.  We thank You God for this little angel you have brought into our family, and we ask for Godly wisdom and grace to fulfill our responsibilities in being the parents that will bring you Glory.

Strawberry Festival

We spent all day at the Strawberry festival and had a wonderful day! This was our 1st time, and we will be making it a tradition. The weather was just perfect! The food was awesome. We enjoyed a delicious Strawberry shortcake, strawberry slushes, and a great dinner. To top off this very fun day we watched a beautiful firework show!

7 sweet months!!!

Happy 7 months Miss Ansley!!!

You are such a precious baby, and that smile melts my heart! We have had a great month and you are changing so very fast. You are doing wonderful at sitting up! I love that you will sit in the middle of the floor and play with your toys. I know the time is coming that you will be everywhere so for know I am enjoying you being in one place!

For the most part you are a very happy baby(as long as your Mommy is around) 

You are such a little angel and we grow to love you a little more each day!!!!

Happy 3rd Birthday Ayden!!!

It is so sad how fast my baby boy is growing! Can not believe 3 precious years have already gone by! We had a wonderful week celebrating Ayden's b-day! On Monday he had school, so we baked cupcakes and brought treats to share with Ayden's class. His sweet teacher took a couple pictures for me!

 That night we had a little party with our family! Ayden got a new Thomas tent and it was the highlight of his day!

We also had to sing to him and had him blow out his candle.(several times)

The following Saturday we had his party at The Happy Zone! We had 10 kids come and it was a blast!

This boy LOVES Alvin and the Chipmunks! I am so glad he got the new one for his b-day, as I know just about every word to the 1st one! =)

What a great time we had celebrating our precious little Ayden. You are absolutely a blessing in every way! We love you more than you will ever know!!! 

Spring Break 2011

We had a wonderful Spring break this year. We met my Mom and sister and her family in the Outer banks. It was so much fun, and we made some wonderful memories! 

This is Ansley's first time to put her little toes in the sand. 

We had beautiful weather almost the whole week. We enjoyed doing many different thing but just relaxing and hanging out was what we were all hoping for. Taking a baby to the beach is a total "job"!!! As soon as we would bring the 100 things Miss Ansley was going to need she would let us know she was wanting to go back to the house. We did bring the playpen, but she was not about to sleep somewhere different!

 Ayden on the other hand was all about the beach!!! He loved playing in the sand! I think he would of stayed out there all day! He also loved looking for shells, and starfish.

He loves his cousin Hannah!!!

It was great spending the week with Nana! We all just wish she lived closer!!!

Miss Madison is growing up so fast that it is just scary! Her and Bayley had a great time together!

We forgot the sunscreen the 1st day and she got just a little sunburn! 

We also enjoyed seeing the Light House in Cape Hatters

Happy 12th b-day Madison Jade

The day you were born my life changed in the most amazing way! Madison you are growing into such a beautiful young lady. For your b-day we woke you up to the sound of your cell phone ringing. You were so very happy as you have been wanting a phone for a long time. I was so excited to see how happy it made you. I also came to your school and brought pizza and cupcakes to your friends. I was so excited to that I was cool enough to stay and eat lunch with you. I had a great time!

After school we had to get ready for your volleyball game. After the game we went and ate at Wing King. We were glad that Blair was able to join us.

Happy Birthday my sweet Maddie! We love you so very much, and are so blessed to be your parents. I pray you have a wonderful year!
